MetisRouter
Terms of Service
MetisRouter service terms for API users and teams using the model gateway.
Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for activity under your MetisRouter account and API keys, including requests made by your users, agents, tools, and servers.
- Keep API keys secret and rotate them if they may have been exposed.
- Use separate keys for production, testing, and automation when possible.
- MetisRouter may limit, suspend, or block requests that appear abusive, unsafe, or misconfigured.
Billing and balances
Paid API requests are billed in USD according to published model pricing and the usage returned by the selected endpoint.
- Some models bill by input tokens, output tokens, cached tokens, image count, video seconds, audio duration, or model-specific parameters.
- Requests may reserve a minimum balance before routing upstream and refund unused reserved balance after final billing.
- You are responsible for reviewing pricing, request parameters, and account balances before production use.
Use of upstream models
MetisRouter routes requests to upstream model providers. Model behavior, output quality, latency, availability, and policy enforcement can vary by provider.
- You must follow applicable laws, provider rules, and acceptable-use requirements for the models you call.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse protections, payment controls, or security checks.
- AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; evaluate results before relying on them in production workflows.
Changes and support
MetisRouter may update models, pricing, features, routes, or these terms as the platform and upstream provider requirements change.
- We aim to keep pricing and documentation clear, but upstream providers may change model availability or billing behavior.
- The service may be interrupted by maintenance, provider incidents, network issues, or security events.
- For questions about these terms, contact support@metisrouter.com.
